KBIS 2025: Interior Design Trends Shaping the Year

KBIS 2025 showcased an exciting mix of timeless elegance and bold innovation in kitchen and bathroom design. From luxurious metals to striking colors and textures, the trends that emerged set the tone for the future of interior spaces. Here’s a look at the standout interior design trends from the show.

1.
Copper is in

Copper made a bold statement at KBIS 2025, with bathroom and kitchen fixtures embracing this rich, warm finish. Copper-fronted appliances are adding a touch of luxury, blending modern aesthetics with classic charm.

In both traditional and contemporary designs, copper decorative hardware provides an elegant upgrade, elevating spaces with a warm, sophisticated glow.

Want to add copper to your space? Check out our Metro Collection in Polished Copper for a more contemporary look, or our new Folklore Collection in Weathered Copper to add classic charm and warmth.

2.
Fluting

Fluting was a major trend, appearing in fully fluted cabinetry as well as subtle accents on cabinet fronts. Designers incorporated fluted textures into accent walls, bar bases, and tiles, adding depth and visual interest.

Not sure which hardware is the perfect complement to this trend? The soft curves of our new Folklore Collection beautifully pair with fluted elements. Looking for more contrast? Try out our Swagger Collection

3.
Traditional Revival

KBIS 2025 saw a return to classic, timeless elements that bring warmth and elegance to any home. Rounded corner vanities and cabinets evoke an old-world charm, softening hard lines and creating a sense of grace. Gold and brass fixtures are making a comeback, adding warmth and vintage appeal to kitchens and bathrooms. Intricate mitered edges on countertops and backsplashes highlight the craftsmanship of traditional design, while deep, rich wallpapers and decorative hardware with softer edges and cup pulls complete the picture.

Add traditional elegance into your space with our Timeless Charm series.

4.
Mixed Metals

The trend for mixing metals continues to evolve in 2025. Designers are pairing copper with other finishes like slate, black, and nickel, creating a dynamic and layered look. This trend is evident in both fixtures and decorative hardware, where combinations of polished and brushed finishes are being used together. Mixed metal finishes add sophistication and flexibility, allowing homeowners to create custom looks that feel both modern and timeless.

Add the mixed metals look into your space with our Radial Reign and Rivet Rebel Collections.

5.
Bold Color & Pattern

Bold color and pattern took center stage at KBIS 2025. Colored sinks, tubs, and toilets in vibrant hues are making a statement, while bold patterned tiles and wallpaper create visual interest. Deep jewel tones, rich reds, and classic French blue dominated spaces, giving a unique and vibrant energy.

Not sure what hardware finish goes best with these bold hues? Brushed Nickel, Polished Chrome and Polished Nickel look great with every shade, Modern Brushed Gold perfectly complements deep jewel tones, while Matte Black stuns on French blue.

KBIS 2025 proved that interior design was moving toward a perfect balance of classic elegance and bold experimentation. The trends on display highlighted a desire for warmth, craftsmanship, and personality in kitchens and bathrooms, setting the stage for a stylish and exciting future.
